One of the most important roles of the Alzheimer's Association mission is
providing services for Alzheimer's patients, family and loved ones of people
with Alzheimer's, Alzheimer's caregivers, and medical professionals. Some
of our Services are listed below:

Safe Return
The Alzheimer's Association and MedicAlert have formed an alliance to
improve the safety of individuals with Alzheimer's or related dementia.
Caregivers can call the 24 -hour emergency response line 1-800-625-3780
to report a wandering/lost incident.

Care Consultation
Care Consultation is a service designed to assist the person with Alzheimer's
and their family in planning for and dealing with all aspects of the illness,
including: needs assessment, planning, and problem solving. Schedule a meeting
to develop a comprehensive plan by calling 713-314-1313.

Support Groups
Monthly gatherings of family, friends, and caregivers that provide an opportunity
for socializing, discussing, and supporting one another on Alzheimer's related issues.
All support groups are facilitated by trained volunteers. Call 713-314-1313 or

Recreational Groups
Join us for our monthly A.R.T.S (Alzheimer's Recreation Training and Services)
group gatherings which provide an opportunity for learning new skills and hobbies, visiting new places,
and meeting new people in a caring, stimulating environment. For more information about the

An array of educational programs designed to equip the diagnosed individual, family members,
and professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to enhance the quality of life of
individuals with dementia.
