Volunteer Information

The Alzheimer’s Association has many opportunities for members of the community to volunteer their time and talents. Whether you volunteer 4 hours a week or only once in a while, we need you. All volunteers should have good communication skills and be reliable and self motivated. We appreciate the positive effects volunteers have on our community.

Duties for volunteers at Health fair and Conferences include: Picking up materials from the Association, setting up a booth/table and disseminating information. Basic communication skills are required and you should be able to answer general informational questions about the Association and the disease. Volunteer orientation is also required. Volunteer orientations take place the third Tuesday of the month at the chapter office or by conference call.

For more information about any of these listings please contact our volunteer coordinator, Ann Marie McDonald, at 713-314-1332.
