Spirituality in Alzheimer's Care: A Panel Discussion
Area: Greater Houston Audience: Professional, Community, Caregiver Location: The Hope and Healing Center Auditorium St. Martin's Episcopal Church 717 Sage Road Houston, TX 77056 Date: 9/17/2013 Time: 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM
Because of the overwhelming interest we received at our previous "Spirituality in Alzheimer's Care" panel discussion, we have teamed up with The Hope and Healing Center to do a follow-up program.
Rev. Dr. Michael Gemignani, along with other panelists, will continue the discussion of his late wife's battle with Alzheimer's, speaking to the spiritual dimensions contained within that journey. A panel of experts will respond to his story and engage in a dialogue with the audience.
Whether you attended before or have a new interest in this important and emotional topic of discussion, we encourage you to attend what will be a powerful event.
Officers from HPD's Mental health Unit will discuss law enforcement response to cases of missing elderly persons, wandering, and mental health warrants and other dementia related safety situations. They will also offer suggestions on how to keep you and your loved one safe.
