Alzheimer's & Dementia Research Symposium
Featured speaker: Heather Snyder, Ph.D. Director, Medical and Scientific Relations National Alzheimer's Association, Chicago.
Research posters welcome. Symposium is free of charge. Breakfast and lunch are provided.
Registration required. Deadline to register, Sept. 6.
A representative from the Alzheimer's Association will be discussing how to manage caregiver stress; taking care of yourself as a caregiver; helpful tips about communication; how to avoid difficult behaviors whenever possible; and community resources available for the care-giver as well as the care-partner. Open to the Community.
