This is the 4th year that Grace Care Center of Cypress has proudly hosted a ???Battle of the Bakers??? Competition Fundraiser for the Northwest Houston Walk to End Alzheimer???s. We invite friends in the community to join us in this fun event, as bakers or as attendees,as we raise funds and awareness for our local Alzheimer???s Association. Our Grace Cypress cake theme last year was ???Act to End Alzheimer???s???. We are passionate about ending Alzheimer???s and this event enables us all to make a difference towards that goal! Bakers are healthcare chefs and staff, professional bakers and anyone else that loves to bake and compete! This year we are allowing cupcake designs with at least 48 regular size cupcakes. Teams are invited to tell your story at the event sharing why you chose your theme.

This is an early-stage dementia program designed to help persons recently diagnosed with Alzheimer???s or dementia, and their caregivers.
This program will teach you how to watch for signs of depression and anxiety in you or your loved one, and provide basic tips on how to deal with these issues.
