Alzheimer's disease and dementia affect more than 140,000 families in Southeast Texas alone.

You can help ensure families are aware of the symptoms of Alzheimer's disease and how they can help prevent dementia by volunteering as a member of the Alzheimer's Association's Speakers Bureau. These volunteers are trained to help educate the community by delivering scientifically-based core presentations with opportunities to speak during the day, in the evening and on weekends.
