Alzheimer's disease and dementia affect more than 140,000 families in Southeast Texas alone.
As a member of the Alzheimer's Association's Speakers Bureau, you can raise awareness about Alzheimer???s disease and provide practical strategies for care and support. Speakers Bureau members deliver community education programs developed by the Alzheimer???s Association, using scientifically-based prepared materials. Participants must have attended ALZ 101. It's Mardi Gras time! Come learn to make cookies while benefiting the Alzheimer's Association. A $30 donation will register you for the class where you will learn to decorate 5 sugar cookies with royal icing. You will also receive recipes and other tips.
