The Learning Together series is an educational opportunity for individuals in the early-stages of memory loss and their care partners. Learning Together covers topics related to early-memory loss, including the basics of the disease, communication techniques, driving, and legal and financial planning.

Guidelines for participation:
(1) Symptoms of memory loss or other problems associated with mild cognitive impairment, and a diagnosis of early-stage Alzheimer's disease or a related disorder documented by a physician or a clinical professional's geriatric assessment.
(2) The individual is aware of their problem and/or the diagnosis and acknowledges memory loss or confusion at times.
(3) The individual has a care partner or someone who is willing to attend with them.
(4) The individual can reasonably engage in conversation, expressing themselves despite difficulty with word finding or speech.

*RSVPs are required to participate in Learning Together.

Know the 10 Signs

The 10 Warning Signs program describes the signs and symptoms individuals should look for if they are concerned about Alzheimer?????s disease. The program also covers frequently asked questions about risk as well as tips on how to follow up on concerns attendees may have about themselves or someone they care about. The presentation features video clips of real people living with the early stages of dementia and their families discussing their experience with the 10 warning signs, risk factors, and what is involved in getting a diagnosis. At the end of the program, attendees will understand the benefits of early detection including accessing available treatment, planning for the future and participating in clinical trials.
