The 14th Annual Houston AWARE Family Portrait Luncheon, honoring family members and friends who have been affected by Alzheimer?????s, will be held Nov. 21 at the River Oaks Country Club.
This year's guest speaker is Raymond Benson, award-winning novelist and the first official American author of the James Bond 007 books. His latest series, The Black Stiletto, features a 1950s costumed female vigilante, who in modern day, is struggling with Alzheimer?????s disease when her son uncovers her amazing past.
Houston AWARE is a fundraising auxiliary of the Alzheimer's Association Houston & Southeast Texas Chapter with more than 350 members. Founded in March 2000, Houston AWARE's special projects sustain vital services for families affected by Alzheimer's disease, including education, care consultations and our 24/7 HELPline.
