The 2nd Annual Beaumont Family Portrait Luncheon, honoring family members and friends who have been affected by Alzheimer?????s, will be held Nov. 20 at the Beaumont Country Club.
This year's guest speakers will be Betsy Arnold and Molly Arnold-Gay.
Betsy Arnold co-authored ?????Coach Broyles????? Playbook for Alzheimer?????s Caregivers: A Practical Tips Guide????? with her father, former University of Arkansas head football coach, Frank Broyles. Betsy and her father, along with other family members, cared for her mother who had Alzheimer?????s. Betsy has been featured with her father on the Dr. Phil show.
Molly Arnold-Gay is the granddaughter of Coach Frank Broyles. She began speaking at events and seminars across the country after her grandmother passed away. She has found caregiving to be her passion and shares her experiences with all who can benefit.
The event supports dementia educational programs and awareness in Southeast Texas and funding research to end Alzheimer?????s disease.
