Understanding Behaviors

Alzheimer?????s disease can often lead to confusing and difficult behaviors in patients. This presentation helps explain why some of these behaviors happen including 1) side effects of medications, 2) the disease itself, and 3) co-morbidity issues. Once the behaviors are defined, the presentation offers strategies on how to deal with some of the most common challenging behaviors including issues surrounding sexuality. Lastly, the presentation explores various behavioral case studies and discusses the importance of a personalized approach when dealing with behaviors.
