Many people use Alzheimer's disease and dementia interchangeably without a clear distinction between what each word means. This presentation will go over the important difference between the two terms. It will explore the various types of dementia and the science behind Alzheimer's. Participants will come away with a better understanding of the symptoms of Alzheimer's disease, the progression of the disease, and the available treatments and medications.
