Safety is a primary concern for families caring for loved ones with Alzheimer's disease. The presentation stresses the importance of creating a safe home and environment for persons with dementia. Our presenter will offer tips on how to keep individuals safe from wandering and modifications necessary for a safe home environment. Driving issues will be addressed as will the importance of disaster preparedness.
