Learning Dinners for People with Dementia, Their Families, Friends and Caregivers

The Alzheimer???s Association Houston and Southeast Texas Chapter, Libbie???s Place, and UTMB???s Center for Spirituality of Aging have partnered together through a United Way of Galveston grant to convene a series of learning dinners specially designed for people with dementia and their loved ones. These dinners will cover a variety of topics related to dementia, featuring a panel of Alzheimer???s and dementia specialists. Topics will cover "Medical and Clinical Aspects of Dementia," "Community Support and Resources," and "Community Conversations: Time to Get Your Questions Answered."

The dinners will be held on Tuesdays, July 18, July 25, and August 1st from 4:30-6pm at Moody Methodist Church in Fellowship Hall.
