Art of the Moment: An early-stage program

Area: Gulf Coast
Audience: Community, Caregiver
Location: Galveston Arts Center
2127 Strand
Galveston, TX 77550
Date: 6/13/2016
Time: 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM

Join us at the Galveston Arts Center on June 13th for an interactive tour of the summer exhibition, Twenty-Five: A Celebration. This temporary exhibition commemorates the 25-year career of curator Clint Willour and constitutes perhaps the largest collection of major contemporary Texas visual artists that Galveston has ever seen together in one place. Through inclusive discussion and an engaging, hands-on activity, trained museum educators will help you and yours connect with and enjoy a carefully chosen selection of paintings, sculptures, photographs, collages and drawings.

This program is designed for people experiencing early memory loss or the early-stages of Alzheimer's or dementia, and a care partner. Please RSVP to Krista Bohn at kbohn@alz.org or 713-314-1363.
