Activity Based Alzheimer Care

"Building a Therapeutic Program"
Activity professionals working with individuals with dementia in all care settings
should not miss this opportunity. Attendees will explore the fundamental components of
Activity Based Alzheimer Care, examine effective assessment strategies, identify program design
options and methods for implementation, and discover ways to adapt activities to meet individual needs.
The role of teamwork and ideas for evaluating new and current programs will also be discussed.
This program is preapproved for 7 clock hours of continuing education though
the National Certification Council for Activity Professionals (NCCAP) and for .6 CEUs
through the American Therapeutic Recreation Association (ATRA).
